Lunar Crescent PM CO was founded on the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

I am proud to be a 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusive business, and this commitment holds deep personal meaning for me. As a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community since 2015, my experiences have shaped both my identity and professional values. Volunteering and contributing to local organizations such as Skipping Stone and Calgary Pride have not only allowed me to support the community, but have also deepened my understanding of its unique challenges and strengths. These opportunities have reinforced my dedication to fostering safe and inclusive spaces, both in my business practices and within the broader community.

Likewise, I believe in keeping an open mind throughout life and learning as much as possible from other cultures. Working with people from different backgrounds has already taught me the importance of empathy, flexibility, and respect in every interaction. For example, collaborating with colleagues from various cultural backgrounds has exposed me to new perspectives and creative problem-solving approaches, which I now incorporate into my work. These experiences have not only broadened my worldview but have also inspired me to actively seek out opportunities to connect with and learn from others. I am committed to continuing this journey, knowing that embracing diversity enriches both my personal growth and the communities I serve, and will further strengthen my commitment to cultural equity and inclusion.

Lastly, I am committed to learning more about Canadian Indigenous history through ongoing education, engaging with Indigenous voices, and attending cultural events in Southern Calgary when possible. I strive to listen to and learn directly from Indigenous community members, valuing their stories, traditions, and perspectives. I respect and honour the land where I work, play, and live, which is on Treaty 7 territory. These nations include the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Tsuut'ina, and the three bands under the Stoney Nakoda Nations: Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley. I recognize the importance of meaningful reconciliation and aim to support Indigenous communities by advocating for awareness and respect in my business and personal interactions.
